Weekend in Big Sur...

We has such a fun weekend in Big Sur with Matt and Gleidy Wetzel. Poor Gleidy was not prepared for the windy roads and lengthy drive from LA! (We promised to let them pick the location next time!!) Anyway, the weekend turned out to be perfect. I just adore Gleidy and it was really fun to see Matt and Brad together again. It happened to be Gleidy's birthday so we went up to Carmel for dinner where there happened to be an amazing car show. The boys loved it!
Abby was there too! She loved the beach, hiking on the rocks and sneaking around the campground. Hopefully more pics. to come from Matt's fancy camera!

It was fun seeing Julia even if just for a couple hours. Thanks Kaylynn for hosting a fun BBQ.

Here is my last wing on a plate of veggies. I was trying to pretend that wings are "Eating Clean".

Whenever I go home I have to have 3 things...
Spiedies, Wings (not breaded!!!) and Leory's pizza with Blue chesse and hot sauce. It's all bar food. It's all bad for you. It's all worth it.

For those of you just dieing to know what a "spiedie" is .....

They are best served on fresh, sliced italian bread with green peppers, onions and little provolone cheese!

Kelly's Bridal Shower

I was in NY this past weekend for my best friends Bridal Shower and my sisters Baby Shower (...pics to come). What a perfect day. We had to back to back showers. Kelly's started at 11 AM and my sisters started at 3:30 PM. My mom was up at 6 AM prepping. I rolled out of bed around 7 AM to help (considering this was my idea I should have been up at 4 AM). Kellys entourage arrived around 9:30 to finish setting up. Her shower went really well. Lots of presents and happy people! After everyone left we washed the dishes, set up some more tables change the linens andfinished rolling napkins. The caterer came and switched out the food and POOF there you have two showers in one day. Needless to say I was exhausted by the end, but it was so worth it! Thanks to Kelly and Cortney for sharing the day so I could attend!

Brad's parents visit from Utah...

Brad's mom and dad came out for a quick visit last weekend. It was so fun to have them here! We drove up highway one, with the intention of going to Pointe Reyes, but did not quite make it. We did stop at the Stinson Beach overlook and Muir Woods. We also had a fun lunch in Sausalito!
We felt so lucky that they came to see us.
