A visit from home...

Brads mom Sherry came to visit us a couple of weeks ago and it was great. We forget how much we miss home until someone from home reminds us! She was such a great house guest... easy as pie. We relaxed by the pool, ate at some of our favorite restaraunts, got mani/pedis, went to the beach and just enjoyed her company!! Come back soon Sherry!!! We miss you!!!

Painters...

Brad and I got some new bedding. With that we decided that we needed some new art to match. We looked and looked and didn't really find anything that we LOVED... plus art is expensive.

So, I decided we would do it ourselves!

We were really proud of our "masterpieces" until last night. While watching "The Sopranos" there was a scene at a mental hospital where the patients were doing arts and crafts and.... I am not kidding you here.... one of the paintings on the wall in the background was an exact replica of my painting. It was really sad.

Atleast we tried. Maybe some frames would help... What do you think?

Birthday Barbecue

Birthday!

My freind Jenna and I share the same birthday week so we decided to do an Birthday celebration week. I remember in college starting my Birthday on a Wed and dragging it out all the way to Sunday.

Let it SNOW!!!

We woke up to almost a foot of snow!
We had to put chains on our tires to get home.
It took us about 10.5 hours to make it home (usuallly a 3 hour drive)

Skiing in Tahoe

Brad and I went on a fun ski weekend in Tahoe. We stayed at Mollys dads house!

It was alot of fun. Pedro, Courtney, Scott and Mollys Sister and Brother in law were there too!
