"There never was a good war, or a bad peace." - Thomas Jefferson
This is a picture of my cousins husband, Hank, in Iraq. I am so proud of all of our soldiers and am really touched by the sacrifice they make for us. Isn't this picture neat? It was in published with the following caption:
"An Iraqi child examines the gear of 2nd Lt. Henry R. Nesbitt, the
platoon commander for 2nd platoon of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Task Force Wolfpack, Regimental Combat Team 2, while on a foot patrol through the streets of Anah, Iraq. The fact that the Marines are building relationships with the various facets of Iraqi society is helping to bring everyone together, united, to pursue the same ultimate goal." So I Think I Can Dance...
Last night while watching "So You Think You Can Dance" my body just really wanted to DANCE! So I did. It was a beautiful modern piece that was really quite moving. Brad and Abby watched in awe. Abby really loved it, she kept trying to get a better view! Brad said only one thing when I was done... "You have so many other great talents".

My sunflowers have sprouted...
Julia Wade sent me the most darling sunflower growing kit for my birthday and I am so excited because they are actually starting to grow!! So fun! The directions were pretty easy. It said to plant 4 seeds in each pot (so of course i planted 7). Now they are all sprouting and the only thing that worries me is that it said something about choosing the strongest flower or sprout then replanting...i think i would kill them and I dont have the directions anymore. Molly, any advice?

Half Moon Bay...
Sandy nose...
We had such a nice day today at Half Moon Bay. We drove out right after church in hopes that the fog would lift and it would be atleast 60 degrees. No such luck. We still took a nice nap and had fun watching Abby play in the sand.
