(This is our Christmas Card. )
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Love, The Bakers
I had such an amazing time running with these girls!
I totally get it now! It was too fun being in the same hotel and just getting to hang out. The run itself was so great. I ran the last 6 miles with Kaylynn who ran the full marathon..she was impressive to say the least. But, I refuse to apologize to all all those who were "silently cursing me" for my excitement and energy and it wasnt it just you Kay, Maren admitted to hating some Liz too. :) I was just having too much fun... all those people telling us how great we were. Thats cool.

We had dinner with our Friends Pedro and Courtney
a couple weeks ago and we ended up singing some
Kareokee. Brad thought Pedro was too funny as he
sang "Ignition" by R Kelly. "Beep Beep"!! Good Times.

I am such a dork. I am running 5.7 miles on Saturday in a relay at the Cal Marathon. I started running 1.5 months ago but am still a nervous wreck!
These girls run 26 miles and I am freaking out about 5.7?? The Relay leg distances are: #1 = 5.9 miles, #2 = 7.6 miles, #3 = 7.0 miles and #4 = 5.7 miles. (ME!)
I have the shortest leg which is last so everyone will probably being slowing down by then but I am still anxious. Anyway, I am going to do it and i will be very proud of myself. The website says everyone gets a medallion. That is the only thing I am looking forward to.

I had such a fun weekend (last weekend)...hanging with
some of my old college girlfriends. Liz is on the left and
"G" is on the right. I haven't laughed so hard in such a long
time. Liz is one of the funniest people you will ever meet and
Gloriana is so genuine, its overwhelming at times.
Below is Liz's husband Mike and adorable baby Owen.
You can check out there blogs which I have links to on the left.

Wow!! Our first Earthquake...it was pretty amazing. Brad and I just could not believe what was happening. Brad described it as feeling like he was "riding a wave". We both wished is had lasted just a little bit longer so we could have really taken it all in. I am sure there will be a next time.
No damage, but a good reminder to make sure our 72 hour kits our stocked.

Here I am dressed up at Lucy and my friend Paul on the far left
was Ricky Ricardo. He was the perfect Ricky!
Growing up my Mom always made our costumes for us. She would start in September by taking us to the fabric store to pick out a pattern and fabrics. Our basement would be tranformed into a costume making factory and she would work day and night making costumes for all 4 kids!!
It was such a fun time.
The picure above is me as a slice of watermelon. I was in 6th grade. I won the school costume contest for most creative. I am a winner.
p.s That hair is hot dont you think???

If you are a fan of the Bachelor you need to check out this blog.
This lady is too funny. Here is one my favorite quotes from her blog....
"“Come to my house for a pool party.”WHOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!! The scream that could be heard for miles. It didn’t dawn on me, other than the fact that she’s from Crazy Town, why Hillary was making such a huge deal about this date. We find out later that she is the only one who hasn’t seen our Bachelor without a shirt.I guess there is reason to celebrate. I’ll erase one crazy mark by her name."

Molly, Liz and Brooke
Pedro, Liz and Brad
We went to see a Band on Saturday night in SF. It was
really fun. The piano player sounded just like Gavin Degraw.
Molly had a little crush on him until she found out he is....22.
Here is Molly trying to get in a picture with him. Too funny!
